Into The Spotlight

One of the most celebrated woman this year was not an actress, supermodel or politician. Instead this woman is elderly and a simple former computer programmer. She wanted what many Americans have... the right to marry and be acknowledged as the spouse of the one she loved. For over 40 years Edith Windsor was engaged to her love and even married in Canada. When her wife dies she did receive the benefits other spouses would receive. Despite her ill health and age she decided to do something about it And so she did.
