Child Support Paid to Child?
In a highly unusual case, the child is suing her parents for support. The New Jersey teen claims she is entitled to tuition, transportation, and room and board. Could this teen open the floodgate for other teens fed-up with living under the parents’ roofs? Unlike lawsuits of the past for emancipation from their parents, this teen is actually suing her parents for support. This will be an interesting case to watch, if it is not thrown out or settle out of court.
