Like many children, I was brought up on fairytales. I loved the idea of a prince and and princess riding off to the sunset to live happily ever after. But what happens next? In this day and age what does a "fairytale" look like? I am happy to say there are some new "fairytales" such as Hunger Games which give young women a strong female role model. Perhaps the heroine saves a young man rather than vice versa or maybe the heroine ends up very happy solo. Either way in honor of National Fairytale Day lets look at changing up some of our ideals of what a "fairytale" ending should be today. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/daylle-deanna-schwartz/marriage-is-not-a-fairy-tale_b_3998219.html
