The price of a baby.

November 5, 2013

Frequent flyer miles, projected income from advance degrees, and fertility treatments. When it comes to alimony what should be provided for in a divorce settlement? The fact is fertility is assigned a value and women should be provided for their reproductive future. While this is unprecedented, in my view this is a topic that will be coming up more frequently in divorces. Keeping her eggs frozen was part of the marriage, so it was part of the marital lifestyle, which should be taken into account during a divorce. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/07/opinion/alimony-for-your-eggs.html?_r=0
