Digital Privacy Please

There is no question that technology is part of our everyday lives, from cell phones to iPad to all types of social media; Because of this, digital privacy clauses have been gaining popularity when it comes to writing a pre or post nuptial. The clause provides for a ban of personal digital information should a divorce occur. Basically anything gathered on laptops or cell phone could not be used against another spouse in court. While at first glance this provision sounds like something for the famous or infamous, the provision is actually just good business for a lot of people by ensuring an angry ex does not use certain emails to ruin a soon to be former spouses business. Until the law catches with technology digital privacy clauses may be the way to go.
